Boy Born With AV Fistulae Designed For Dialysis Later?

Dr. Edison Souza from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil reports a very unusual boy who was born with an arteriovenous fistulae in his hand. At the tender age of 16 years old he developed chronic renal failure (which requires dialysis and an arteriovenous fistula is normally created for facilitating regular dialysis).
