University of Southern California researchers have found the potential of an enzyme known as APOBEC-3G to fight HIV. The study, published in the online journal Nature reveals the atomic structure of this enzyme. The study suggests new directions for drug development.

According to the researchers, people having HIV have much higher risk of cancer including anal cancer and low risk of prostate cancer.
