Kids Obesity Blamed on Lack of Sleep
Children who sleep less than 10 hours are more likely to be overweight than those who sleep 12 hours or more.
It has been found that less amount of sleep drops the level of leptin, a hormone that decreases hunger, while boosting the level of ghrelin, a hormone that increases hunger.
Thus the best way to overcome Obesity would be to encourage your children to get enough physical activity and sleep.
