Erectile Dysfunction May be Early Warning Sign for Diabetes & Heart Disease
The Keck School of Medicine researchers have found out that Erectile Dysfunction can be a result of physical problems like poor blood flow to the penis. Erectile Dysfunction, better known to be impotence, was believed to be a psychological problem. Moreover the study indicates that ED can be an early indicator to coronary artery disease.
The two studies that published in the Journal of American College of Cardiology professed that ED coupled with diabetes can lead to the greater risk of developing cardiovascular disease. One of the two studies indicates that ED can lead to a greater risk of cardiac problems like heart disease. The four year long study finds that the more than half of ED population run the risk to develop heart problems.
