BioArchive - Automated Blood Freezer for Cord Blood Stem Cell Storage
The BioArchive is an automated system to cryogenically freeze and store cord blood stem cells, derived from the umbilical cords of infants, which have medical promise for transplants.
The system uses robotic storage and retrieval to maintain the cells at a liquid-nitrogen-cooled 196 degrees-below-zero Celsius.
