Alzheimer May Be Prevented By MegaNatural AZ

According to a research conducted by Dr. Giulio Maria Pasinetti of the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and his colleagues, red grape seed that packs the punch of red wine could help to prevent the memory loss that is caused due to Alzheimer’s disease.Red-Grape-Seed-Image

Although, Pasinetti noted in an interview, that ” moderate consumption of alcohol in the form of red wine might have potential complications for the people having metabolic disorders or cardiovascular disorders.” So, to sidestep the alcohol issue, they investigated whether an extract of red grape seeds sold as MegaNatural AZ by Polyphenolics, a Madera, California-based grape products supplier, could prevent the progress of the disease in mice. Polyphenolics helped fund the research.

They fed mice an amount equivalent to 1 gram of Polyphenolics daily for humans or plain water. After five months of treatment they found that the mice had 30 to 50 percent less clumping of amyloid-beta protein in their brains.

Amyloid-beta protein clumping is the main cause that causes plaques and tangles within the brain during the Alzheimer’s patients.Image-of-Brain-Affected-by-Alzheimers

Not only rodents, in the case of other animals also they found that the animals who were fed with the extract performed significantly better than the other animals who didn’t received it.

On receiving this positive result now they hope that the similar MegaNatural AZ may prevent this memory loss or may cure Alzheimer’s in humans.
